BRC couldn’t exist without the bold vision of our clients and the vast array of talented people that consistently deliver those visions. No one understands that better than our leadership team. This team’s job is to ensure that the company’s history informs its present, and that BRC is set to take on changing client needs. We plan on delivering world-class projects for another quarter century. The Executive Team is here to ensure that’s exactly what happens.

Every company needs someone who can see the big picture while navigating the details. Scott is that person for BRC.

A versatile and visionary leader, Scott Ault oversees company operations, handles public relations, and works closely with the portfolio vice presidents and financial leadership to monitor and grow the company. From time to time he also acts as project director for projects in production, with the primary responsibility of ensuring project funds are invested where the visitor will see the greatest benefit.

In addition to his 20 years of experience in the themed entertainment industry, Scott’s background in show producing and art directing for Disney, theme parks, and commercial and feature film production. He’s also worked in operations at Disneyland, a world expo pavilion, the NFL Experience traveling event, and several museums. All of this makes him the right person to meld a client’s needs and the designer’s world of possibility with successful results.

As one of the first members of the BRC in-house production team (she’s been producing media at BRC since 1985), Marci plays a pivotal role in delivering media and events projects that surpass client expectations and always finish on schedule and on budget. Few others in the themed entertainment industry have such far-reaching experience.

Marci has worked in every phase of show production – from “blue sky” concept to post-opening and with virtually every type of presentation format – from live stage shows and special effects theaters to special-format films, video wall presentations, interactive exhibits and themed environments.

Marci earned a Bachelor of Arts; Business Administration (emphasis in Marketing), with a second major in Communications (emphasis in Radio, TV and Film) from California State University, Fullerton.

Ostensibly, Christopher DeAnde’s job is three-fold. First, he works with clients to communicate the unique considerations involved in creating legal agreements for one-of-a-kind museums, visitor centers, expo pavilions and theme park attractions. Second, he makes sure that contracts with vendors and consultants ensure that our clients are provided with a superior product. Third, he safeguards the intellectual property rights and clearances delivered as part of our projects.

Christopher is adept at accomplishing these tasks, but his real job is something different. His “job within the job” is to work with clients at every step to ensure that both parties benefit, and that clients are treated with integrity and respect in their business dealings with BRC.

Christopher comes from two of the most impressive entertainment companies in the world, Universal Creative and the Walt Disney Company. For Universal, Christopher worked on the legal team for their Osaka theme park. At Disney, he worked for Sharon Garrett in the Information Services Department, managing telecommunications, data center operations, and all business applications supporting the $25 billion entertainment company.

As Managing Director of BRC Europe Bart transforms clients’ dreams into physical reality throughout continental Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His most recent BRC project was the new Heineken Experience in Amsterdam. Part Branding experience, part commercial attraction and part heritage center, the new Heineken Experience opened in 2008 to sensational acclaim.

Before joining BRC, Bart was a team member for LaserPromotions BV and Rexroth Hydraudyne, on projects such as The London Eye, Catastrophe Canyon, Disneyland Paris, HollandRama at the Open Lucht Museum, The Netherlands, and the Technology Museum of Thessaloniki, Greece.

Bart is a past chairman of, and serves on, the TiLE (Trends in Leisure Entertainment) Committee and is a frequent speaker at many different conferences across Europe. Bart is also a guest lecturer at the NHTV, Breda University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands.

Bart holds an MBA from the NIMBAS Graduate School of Management/Bradford University as well as a BS in Electronic Science from the Hoge Technische School.

As one of the industry’s leading creative directors, Christian brings incredible leadership, design expertise, business acumen, and strategic thinking to our clients’ brand-focused projects.  His design philosophy of immersing guests in the “mythology of the brand” is at the heart of Christian’s contributions to numerous breakthrough projects for a diverse range of clients, ranging from major brands, corporations, government agencies, and countries.

Christian is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, a LEED accredited professional, and a past board member of the Society of Environmental & Graphic Design. He occasionally teaches courses in Experience and Environmental Design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, where he graduated with honors. His life and work have been further enriched by his training experience with the United States Navy and Special Warfare Leadership.

A true renaissance woman, Carmel’s background at BRC runs the gamut. Since 2001, she has contributed to projects from virtually every aspect, from creative and design management, client relations, project development, and business and legal affairs.

But the most useful skill she possesses is the art of listening deeply. It’s this skill that she applies most as the head of Educational Experiences for museums, cultural heritage attractions, science centers, and educational attractions. She deftly applies a left and right brain balance at every project stage, resulting in outstanding service to clients, resourceful team leadership, and the highest quality end product.

Carmel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Theater Production from Towson University in Maryland.

Tom McDonald has a daunting task – to translate the magic of the creative process into hard reality of numbers. What makes this mission even more daunting is that our projects are based around the world, with a multitude of currencies and conditions. Tom has mastered these fiscal arts and sciences, ensuring that BRC delivers the experiences our clients expect from us on time and on budget.

Tom is a CPA and has an MBA from UCLA. He learned how to meet large, complex challenges like this in the two years he spent working with the Los Angeles Olympic Committee on the 1984 Olympics. The Olympics was the ultimate logistical test -- a billion dollar project that takes place over sixteen days with an immutable schedule established years in advance. (The 1984 Olympics finished on time, and produced a surplus of 250 million dollars.)

As part of his unofficial title as “designated adult” at BRC, Tom provides the stability, consistency and practical vision that helps BRC be the best at creating memories that last a lifetime.

Tisa brings entertainment, innovation, and emotion to BRC’s entertainment and brand portfolios. She brings years of experience to every BRC project, combining story sense, technical know-how, a drive for perfection, and an eye for detail.

Tisa began her career as a designer and project manager of custom film-based attractions.  She then worked for WET Design, the designer and creator of spectacular custom water features.  At BRC, she has been a producer for theme parks, museums, visitor centers, and brand experience centers. As the senior producer of the visitor experience at the groundbreaking Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, she led the BRC team in the creation a completely new kind of history based entertainment experience.

Tisa received her degree in architecture with a minor in structural engineering from the University of California Berkeley.

Chuck’s fingerprints are on virtually every project BRC has produced since 1985. He’s a true renaissance designer and problem solver, with a keen eye toward maintaining high quality standards of creative and technical integrity that are the hallmarks of BRC’s work.

Chuck’s role as a member of executive team allows him to work across BRC’s portfolios, ensuring a company standard of quality and consistency – from the drawing board to field installation.

Chuck is an Art Center College of Design graduate and also attended the Cornish Institute of Allied Arts in Seattle.

When Bob started Bob Rogers & Company in his garage in 1981, he never imagined that the company would grow into BRC Imagination Arts, the world-renowned design and production company it is today.

Master storyteller, inventor, and writer, Bob has been a leader in the field of experience design and production for over three decades, sought after by international brands, world expos, museums, cultural institutions, and entertainment attractions. BRC has flourished under Bob’s leadership, and has evolved into a company with offices in three countries and nearly 100 diverse and wildly talented people, all of whom exemplify Bob’s can-do, innovative spirit.

The culture that permeates BRC is a direct reflection of Bob’s passion for showmanship with a deep respect for storytelling. The result is the creation of magical experiences for audiences the world over that transcend the ordinary and elevate the meaning and message our clients need to communicate.

In 2007, Bob received The Thea Award for Lifetime Achievement, this industry’s highest honor. Since its inception in 1981, BRC has been honored with over 250 international awards for creative excellence, including two Academy Award Nominations and 15 Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement in themed entertainment.
