Texas Spirit Theater

Texas Spirit Theater is a state-of-the-art, multi-use theater for The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin. The theater's centerpiece attraction is "The Star of Destiny," a 14-minute "BRC Magic Theater" show like no other museum presentation.

During "The Star of Destiny" presentation, state-of-the-art special effects combine with old-fashioned storytelling to take visitors on an emotional "you-are-there" journey into the heart and soul of the Texas adventure. Layered digital projection systems, changing dimensional sets, moving props, smoke, lightning, and a host of lighting, audio and atmospheric effects completely immerse visitors in Texas history as it is re-told through the eyes of the most courageous, passionate and adventure-loving people the world has ever known. Best of all, there is a rattlesnake in every seat!

The Texas Spirit Theater has exceeded expectations at every turn-generating goodwill and great profits for the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum . The theater operates as a separate gate, and all revenue goes to the museum itself. In the first two years alone, the theater earned the museum more than $1.7 million dollars. This is net revenue-after operating expenses!
