The Arizona Science is seizing a great opportunity to re-invent itself by creating galleries, shows and exhibits that initiate young guests into a lifetime of learning about science. Three fanciful characters will lead the way into bright new galleries starting with, "Innovation." Here the scientists, physicists, artists and entrepreneurs of tomorrow can learn from the innovators of today. Guests will marvel at the dramatic, "Forces of Nature" show. At regular intervals, this show space comes to life, and guests are immersed in “extreme weather phenomena.” The technology creating these immersive presentations includes vivid digital imagery, and earth-shaking 360-degree sound.

The "Communication and Technology" gallery reveals the history of this modern miracle, and how a single device – a cell phone – is a technological "lightning rod" that brings every part of this revolution together in one neat device. The "Exploration" gallery highlights the process of exploration and discovery, as embodied by our three characters. Guests (especially young guests) learn to employ the inquiry/observation/hypothesis process through a series of "Exploratorium" style exhibit/demonstration stations designed to facilitate the learning process.

The new Arizona Science Center will educate, motivate and inspire guests by providing them with an emotional connection to their world and giving them the tools to creatively observe, analyze, and learn from it.
