The Bird and the Robot |

PORTFOLIO
|
We fondly remember Bird and The Robot as BRC's first hit, often hailed as one of the little gems of EPCOT. A spirited toucan (whose name is "Bird") and an industrial robot ("Tiger") star in this innovative, vaudeville-style stage show that illustrates how dreams can become reality for automotive manufacturing and production. In the presentation, amusing, action-packed moments arise when the robot breaks into show business to learn some "amazing tricks of the trade" from the toucan. Bird and the Robot was intended to run for 2 to 4 years. It finally retired after a spectacular 14 year run (1982 to 1996) in order to make way for new replacement shows created for GM by BRC. |
