From Spiderman to Sinbad to SpongeBob SquarePants, Erik Neergaard has designed a host of entertaining and compelling attractions, themed venues and brand Experiences all over the world. At BRC, Erik has been the Creative Lead on numerous projects including the Freej Dubailand theme park; the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam; the Torrena Tower guest experience in Guadalajara, Mexico; and a new Sears Tower visitor experience in Chicago.
Previous to BRC, Erik was one of the designers for the attraction that many consider the greatest ever built – The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman - an astonishing motion-base simulator ride combining 3-D film with sets, ride tracks and special effects. Erik was also Show Designer for The Beatles Yellow Submarine Adventure (based on the film) in Berlin and Tokyo for Sony, and has helped create several memorable attractions for Paramount Parks, the Magic World theme park in Dubai, and Entertainment City in Doha, U.A.E.
Erik graduated with honors from The College of Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico, earning a BFA in Technical Theater in Scenic Design and Stage Management with a minor in Film Direction.
