Newsweek called him “the theme park industry’s resident futurist.” Bob's first entertainment job was in the Magic Shop at Disneyland, where he performed and sold magic. There, he went through the University of Disneyland and was trained to work in all areas of the park.
Before forming BRC, Bob worked at Walt Disney Imagineering, during the creative development of the Epcot theme park. Eventually, Bob co-produced the 1982 film for the France attraction which still plays there today completely unchanged - one of the longest running classics in any of the Disney theme parks.
Bob started Bob Rogers & Company in his garage in 1981. BRC Imagination Arts grew into the world-renowned design and production company it is today.
BRC’s first contract was to help create, develop and produce the World of Motion attraction at the Epcot theme park, seven different shows (one of which was nominated for an Oscar).
Master storyteller, inventor, and writer, Bob has been a leader in the field of experience design and production for over four decades.
The youthful culture of BRC is a direct reflection of Bob’s passion for showmanship with a deep respect for storytelling. The man who began by performing and selling magic now leads an organization that does the same, creating real value for audiences and attraction owners.
