Animation Celebration®

Imagine if you will, the young animation director giving a tour of his advanced animation studio when — as it must in all Universal attractions — something goes terribly wrong! Woody Woodpecker escapes from the animation computer and gleefully and mischievously sets about destroying the studio and the young animator's career. The result is a hilarious, one woodpecker riot of magic, special effects and fun.

Created and produced by BRC Imagination Arts in association with Universal Creative, Animation Celebration® uses BRC's patented Holavision® process which allows an animated Woody to step into the room and directly interact with the live actor.

For the first time, the Holavision® technology is able to present traditional character animation images using the Holavision® 3-D system. Animation Celebration® was an amazing departure from the serious, warm and wise tone of other Holavision® shows like Mystery Lodge and Spirit Lodge. By comparison, this Holavision® show was a slapstick romp, full of laughs, humor and pure entertainment fun.
