BRC IMAGINATION ARTS MOURNS THE PASSING
OF JIM WARREN,
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND FRIEND

BURBANK, CA — BRC Imagination Arts announced today with great sadness that Jim Warren, its chief operating officer, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2007 after many years battling cancer. He was 59.
Jim is survived by his wife, Christie, and his two sons, Steve and Daniel.
During his 14 year tenure at BRC, Jim played a pivotal role in the Company’s day-to-day management and overall growth. He was responsible for the operation of BRC and its subsidiaries, the Company’s strategic and future planning, and supervised all contracts, finance, sales and marketing, facilities, and personnel.
Under Jim’s leadership, BRC witnessed tremendous growth and success. Since Jim joined the Company in 1993, BRC has expanded from 20 to 80 employees and has established corporate subsidiaries in the U.S., the UK and the Netherlands. The Company embarked on industry-leading experience design projects including the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, Adler Planetarium, Disney, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, NASA, Universal Studios, and The Empire State Building. During Jim’s tenure, BRC has been honored with over 250 international awards for creative excellence including two Academy Award nominations and 12 THEA Awards for Outstanding Achievement in themed entertainment.
Bob Rogers, chairman and founder of BRC said, “Jim possessed an almost unheard of ability to negotiate the minute details of our business, while never losing sight of the humanity or the big picture. He was a wonderful human being and amazing colleague and friend. Jim’s presence and insight will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.”
Prior to joining BRC, Jim worked for 22 years as an executive, project manager and entrepreneur in commercial construction and interior design. The TEA, a non-profit industry association, also benefited from his expertise between 1994 and 1997 when he served as its controller and Ways & Means Committee member. In his free time, Jim was an avid pilot and stunt aviator. Jim earned an MBA in finance and economics from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in business and political science from The United States International University (USIU).
A memorial service will be held for Jim at the Santa Paula Airport on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.
