BURBANK, CA — BRC Imagination Arts, one of the world’s leading creators of brand, educational, and entertainment experiences, today announced several new hires and promotions as it continues to grow the company.
Greg Lombardo has joined BRC as director, Brand Experiences; Carmel Lewis has been promoted to vice president of the Education Experiences portfolio; and Tisa Poe has been appointed as vice president of the Entertainment Experiences portfolio.
“These staff developments will benefit us and our clients as we continue at the forefront of providing innovative experiences in the brand, educational, and entertainment market segments worldwide”, said Scott Ault, COO, BRC Imagination Arts.
With expertise in writing, directing, and producing for feature film, commercials, and theater, Lombardo brings an ideal combination of creative vision and business acumen to BRC. This diverse array of experience allows him to effectively bridge the creative and business worlds to better meet the unique needs of clients in the Brand Experiences portfolio. In the theatre, Lombardo served as Artistic Director of the National Shakespeare Company, as well as headed fundraising for America’s oldest touring theater company. He has written, directed, and produced feature films including, “Macbeth in Manhattan,” “Knots,” and “Bob Funk.” Lombardo also has extensive experience in the commercial world, having managed multi-million dollar accounts as a production executive at Pictures In A Row, where he produced over 40 spots for Corinthian Colleges, Inc. As a consultant, Lombardo worked with Andersen Consulting to develop an innovative, live, interactive national training program for sales representatives for a major pharmaceutical company.
A true BRC renaissance woman, Lewis’ background includes creative leadership, writing, production organization, design management, and the art of listening. In her previous role as director of project development, Lewis played an instrumental role in helping clients get their dreams on paper—a process that requires leadership, partnering, listening, and creating to help articulate and package the dream. She has been closely involved with such BRC projects as the Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum and Louisiana’s Old State Capitol. Prior to joining the company, Lewis helped forge partnerships for Sony Development, and worked in advertising, theater, and the legal field.
With a terrific ability to negotiate the industry’s creative, technical, and business aspects, Poe has become one of BRC’s most trusted team members. She is an extremely dedicated and talented manager who possesses an unwavering commitment to her clients, projects, and team members. For her new role, Poe brings a vast inventory of experience in show systems management and project management from numerous themed entertainment projects throughout the world.
