BRC Imagination Arts Announces Addition of Rich Procter to Creative Development Team

release date: May 13, 2004

Burbank, Calif. -- BRC Imagination Arts announced today that award-winning themed entertainment writer Rich Procter has joined the Creative Development team. Procter won a 2002 THEA Award for writing the BRC show "Star of Destiny" for the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, in Austin, Texas.

"Rich will be a valuable addition to our creative team," said Scott Ault, BRC's Vice-President and Executive Producer. "He brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of entertainment, from his work in television and radio to his work for the Walt Disney Company. His talent as a show writer is widely recognized. We're excited that he's now a full time member of our team."

Mr. Procter was a Senior Show Writer for Walt Disney Imagineering from 1988 to 1991, creating shows for Pleasure Island in Walt Disney World. In 1999, he was part of the creative team that developed and installed the "Millennium Village" Pavilion in WDW's EPCOT. He spent the 80's as Creative Director for the advertising agency Bert, Barz and Kirby, where his commercials won 11 CLIO Awards, including Best National Campaign (Bud Light). He has been an Entertainment Reporter for KCOP in Los Angeles, a member of the Groundlings Improv Troupe, and the Writer and Associate Producer for over a hundred hours of television for channels including Discovery, Animal Planet, TLC, A&E, and National Geographic Television. As a Creative Consultant for BRC, he has worked on more than 20 projects, including the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.

"I am thrilled beyond words to join BRC - which is a bit troubling for a writer," said Mr. Procter. "This is like joining the line-up of the 1927 Yankees. Obviously, Bob (Rogers) is Babe Ruth."

Headquartered in Burbank, California, with its European headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and an office in Durham, UK, BRC Imagination Arts is a multi-award winning designer and producer of content-based attractions, exhibits and shows for museums, exhibitions and theme parks around the world.
