ABOUT US

Patrick Weeks

Patrick Weeks literally turns fantasy into reality overseeing the structural design, fabrication and installation of sets, scenic elements and special effects for many of BRC's projects.

Patrick was Fabrications Manager on two new galleries at the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum, "Gemini XII" and "Shoot for the Moon," both of which opened in 2006. Patrick also managed fabrication and installation efforts for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, IL. His day-to-day responsibilities include developing and managing budgets, developing and awarding vendor contracts, scheduling, creating facility impact reports, acting as a liaison between project staff, vendors and the client, and supervising the installation process. Patrick has served as the Fabrications Manager for a number of other BRC projects, including the Spirit of Texas Theater signature production, "The Star of Destiny" at the Texas State History Museum in Austin.

Prior to joining BRC, Patrick worked as a Production Manager for Lexington Scenery and Props in Los Angeles. He was responsible for managing the complete design and production process, from CAD drawings through installation. While at Lexington, he completed projects for well known clients such as Universal Studios, Disney and Lifetime Television for Women.

Patrick also served as Installation Supervisor for George and Goldberg Design Associates and as Installation Foreman for Gothic Moon Productions. In addition, he was the Properties Master for the California State University in San Bernardino, and the Technical Director for the Theater Arts Department of Arlington High School in the Riverside Unified School district.

Patrick studied Theater Arts, with an emphasis in Technical Theater, at the California State University in San Bernardino.
