Six months ago, the Old Jameson Distillery shut its doors, so that BRC in close collaboration with Jameson and our local Dublin partners could completely renovate the Jameson tour experience. With a new name, the now Jameson Distillery Bow Street, has opened in Dublin.
President’s Day has a special meaning for everyone at BRC. Our pride and joy, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, Illinois, has welcomed almost four million guests in its eleven-plus years. In creating the Lincoln Museum, we spent six years exploring Lincoln’s astonishing life story. What we learned continues to guide us in both our professional and personal lives.
At BRC Imagination Arts, we LOVE The Henry Ford. Henry Ford himself founded this place by aggressively collecting scientific and cultural touchstones so that great American innovators like Thomas Edison, the Wright Brothers, Harvey Firestone, and Buckminster Fuller would be remembered and celebrated: not as dusty historical figures, but as unstoppable world-changers filled with a zeal to change the world for the better.
The dream of becoming an astronaut is not only still alive; it’s more robust than ever. In response to an open call for applicants to the next astronaut class, NASA recently announced that more than 18,300 hopeful explorers submitted their résumés. That’s almost three times the number who applied to the last open call in 2011.
Super Bowl 50 is in the books, and everything that can be said about it has now been said.
Except for one thing. Which is…
The Super Bowl is the best example in the American culture of a “perfectly purple” place/event/celebration. And that’s something we at BRC strive to achieve with all our projects.
