Ravinia Festival, North America’s oldest and most diverse outdoor music festival, just announced future plans for an interactive music exhibit, The Music Box.
The building will contain a 65-seat indoor theater with interactive exhibits and a few gallery spaces. Ravinia management and BRC Imagination Arts came together and created a special effects show to illustrate the emotional power of music. Highland Park expects the exhibit to be completed by summer of 2019. An outdoor dining veranda will also be added in 2018.

POWER OF ROCK EXPERIENCE OPENS AT THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME
The new Power of Rock Experience gives fans a front row seat to the greatest live performances from the Rock Hall vault and offers unprecedented access to legendary inductees. The new signature experience opens to the public July 1.
The Power of Rock Experience was a multi-year collaboration between the Rock Hall design team, Westlake Reed Leskosky and world-renowned experience design agency BRC Imagination Arts.
“Rock and roll music has a singular power to inspire and connect us,” said Christian Lachel, executive creative director and vice president at BRC Imagination Arts. “It’s unlike any other art form and we set out to capture that energy and raw emotion in an experience that can be appreciated by everyone.”

They explored how their brands apply the principles of scenography to create share-worthy experiences that deepen consumer loyalty and leave them with a long-lasting emotional souvenir.

GUINNESS STOREHOUSE IS TOP IRISH TOURIST ATTRACTION
Fáilte Ireland, the Irish tourist development authority, has published its annual list of the country’s top attractions.
Most of the attractions included in the list registered good growth during 2016. After years of strong performance, Dublin’s Guinness Storehouse retained the top spot with 1.6m visitors and potential brand ambassadors.
ravinia FESTIVAL to host two-season celebration of bernstein centennial
The Ravinia Music Box is expected to open in 2019 with a major Bernstein traveling exhibit that will include personal mementos and the composer’s piano. The new building, to be erected in underutilized space beyond the north lawn seating area, will include two galleries and a 65-seat theater featuring a paced experience created by BRC Imagination Arts.

The Grand Ole Opry is the “hottest” attraction in the US this spring, according to a report from TripAdvisor. The Nashville music hall and 24 other attractions have been rated based on year-over-year search activity on the TripAdvisor's travel review website.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Receives Historic Donation for Transformation Project
Undertaking the biggest transformation in its 21-year history, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has received a historic $9 million donation from Chris and Sara Connor to create the Connor Theater. When it opens this summer, the theater will house an epic signature experience featuring arena-quality sound, larger-than-life video screens and fan interactivity that will bring audiences closer to their favorite artists than ever before.
